About Claire
Claire completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney and graduated with honours in 2004. She started practising as a doctor in 2005 and has been working in the field of Paediatrics since 2006. Claire was trained in tertiary paediatric hospitals, including the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, and the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network (The Children’ s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick). She completed her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians in the field of Paediatric Allergy and Immunology in 2015. Claire also consults in rooms at Northern Beaches Paediatrics, based in Frenchs Forest.
Claire is experienced in diagnosing and managing children with allergic and immunological diseases, such as food allergies, eczema, asthma, allergic rhinitis, eosinophilic oesophagitis, immune deficiencies and autoinflammatory conditions. She is passionate about ongoing research in the field, and regularly attends the annual Australian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) conference. As a member of both the ASCIA Paediatric Committee and Anaphylaxis Committee, Claire is able to both stay informed and contribute to policy changes that affect Australian children and their families living with allergic or immunological diseases.
